With 2018 now in full swing, we return for another month of open mic and fantastic local artists at the Riverside Sessions!
Laura Power is a singer-songwriter from the Rhondda Valley.
Laura's talent for songwriting as surpassed her own material, as she has turned to mentoring younger musicians in her area as well as writing with BBC Horizons favourites Delyth Mclean, Mixalydia and Climbing Trees' frontman, Matthew Frederick.
Laura Power's self-released music exudes a raw energy with her personal, honest lyrics exhibiting her talents as a budding young songwriter.

Jack Perrett has rapidly grown as a local favourite with his bold, youthful swagger and arsenal of catchy self-penned songs.
Jack Perrett's debut EP 'What You Saying?' is remeniscent of some of Britpop's finest moments as Jack takes the sound of a generation and breathes fresh life into it with his own style of storytelling which sits right at home with early Artic Monkeys and tracks from 'Definitely Maybe' and '(What's The Story) Morning Glory?'.
