From the dance and theatre initiative that brought you the sellout shows 'Make or Break' and 'Romeo and Juliet from the Streets'. G-Expressions have a brand new show that will have you singing and laughing along. This time with 2 showings so even more people can enjoy the creative work.
Directed by Alexandria Riley whom recently worked at The Royal Exchange Theatre, The Other Room and Sherman Theatre as well as appearing in new crime tv drama ‘Bang’. She is currently working with Denise Black (Coronation Street) Richard Mylan (Waterloo Road) and just finished working with Rhodri Miller (My Family) This new piece explores the use of humour in intergenerational theatre using comedy, song and dance all based in a convent in the UK.
G Expressions are a dance initiative that aims to share the power of performance to a youth and family audience whom are deemed non traditional theatre goers. G expressions are as follows:
Talieh Webbe is a performing arts graduate and has been teaching all over Wales. She has had her dance teams perform at Fashion Rocks Wales, Newport Festival, Pill Carnival and Summer Splash as well as several U.K competitions and Riverfront Theatre shows.
Mibinti Webbe is a well-known choreographer who has worked on shows, festivals, music videos and taken her skills across the globe. She is jet-setting off to India this year to teach dance too.
Callum Crowley is a phenomenal singer songwriter who made it on to ‘Team Will’ on well-known tv talent show “The Voice”. He currently lives and performs in London where he is working on is a career as a solo artist.
